Raahini is a brand that is the mere outcome of the love for the 6 yard drape and the colours, culture and heritage that follow it to give the true essence of beauty with traditions. 

We aim at providing versatility and great comfort and a touch of sparkle to every woman’s face once they drape the stunning piece they choose and have immense love and respect for the Indian weaving and the beautiful craft that can be created by our talented and passionate weavers all over the country that can turn a fabric into a story of its own.

 

A few words from Radhika, our founder and CEO:

As a child I would always admire the way my mother would draw the alpona on the floor before every little auspicious ceremony at home. I was always mesmerised by the designs that would change the look of the floor into something else all together. That inspired me towards creating the logo for Raahini..

I would remember her in her beautiful sarees each one of its kind with beautiful patterns and would always imagine myself to drape one when I would grow up. Her passion for beautiful artistic designs would make each saree stand out and growing up seeing beautiful pieces like those my love for it was undeniable.

Through my love for the 6 yard and that I can share with others who have the same feeling, it’s my small attempt to keep her passion alive and the ongoing love for this stunning versatile attire and to keep that nostalgia alive that we all love to feel and cherish.
